I am 6’1”,180 lbs., on the lean side, with a small belly (am72 years young).Have a 44 or so inch chest. I wear a Large 42-44 in brands like Tommy Bahama, Polo, Spooner. What size do you recommend?Thx.

Based on your measurements (44" chest, 6'1", 180 lbs), we definitely recommend going with a **Size L**.

Our size chart reflects **finished garment measurements**. The **Large** has a 49.6" garment chest and 30.7" length, which gives you about 5.5 inches of comfortable ease—very similar to the classic, relaxed resort fit you are used to with Tommy Bahama and Reyn Spooner.

A Medium (46.1" chest) would be quite snug across the chest and midsection.
